Maintenance Module
Up and running with planned maintenance, before failure.
The Maintenance module unifies equipment records, planned maintenance and breakdown work orders on one data model. Fed by IoT and automation data, it triggers preventive maintenance on time to reduce downtime.
Planned and predictive maintenance, fault management.
Overview
What it does
Planned prevention instead of scrambling when failure strikes. The Maintenance module brings equipment, the maintenance plan and spare-part usage onto the same data and triggers preventive maintenance on time from sensor data.
Scope
Sub-categories of Maintenance
Each sub-category manages a part of this process — all on the same data.
Maintenance Management
Manage equipment records, planned and breakdown work orders and spare-part usage in one place.
IoT & Automation
Collect sensor and machine data, auto-trigger maintenance on threshold breach and monitor condition.
Roles
Who is it for?
The same data, a different view for each role.
Maintenance Planner
Set the preventive-maintenance calendar; schedule work orders by crew and part availability.
Maintenance Technician
Close assigned work orders on site; report time spent and parts used instantly.
Maintenance Manager
Track downtime, repair time and maintenance cost live; prioritize critical equipment.
Connection
How maintenance is triggered and closed
Maintenance does not start only with failure. A calendar or sensor threshold opens the work order, the floor closes it, and cost and history are recorded.
Trigger
Calendar or sensor threshold.
Maintenance Order
Crew and parts are assigned.
Repair & Closure
The floor completes the job.
Cost & History
Equipment history is updated.

Maintenance with Sonia AI
Describe it, Sonia prepares it.
Describe your maintenance tasks in natural language; Sonia analyzes the data, prepares the plan and brings it for your approval — the final decision is always yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I manage preventive and breakdown maintenance together?
Yes. Planned maintenance opens automatically from a calendar or sensor threshold; breakdown work orders are created manually and both merge into the same equipment history.
How is IoT sensor data used?
Sensor and machine data are collected for condition monitoring; when a defined threshold is exceeded the system can auto-trigger a maintenance work order and raise an alert.
Does spare-part usage reflect in inventory?
Yes. Parts used in maintenance are deducted from the Stock module; cost is loaded onto the work order and aggregated into the equipment’s maintenance cost.
